You must install a new staple cartridge when <The stapler unit is out of staples> or <The saddle stitcher unit is out of staples> appears on the control LCD. Please note that you can check the number of remaining staples in the installed staple cartridge by selecting [DEVICE] – [CONSUMABLES]. The complete replacement procedure is available below.

Finisher-M1

You must detach the finisher from the Canon imageRUNNER C3200 by grasping its handle and pulling it away from the main unit. After that, you must hold the staple case by its green sides, and pull it out of the finisher. In the next step, you must pull the empty staple cartridge out of the staple case, and then insert the new staple cartridge. Once the new staple cartridge is firmly inserted into the staple case, you must remove the protective seal from the new staples by pulling it straight up. Finally, you must insert the staple case back into the finisher, and then reattach the finisher to the Canon imageRUNNER C3200.

Finisher-N1

Initially, you must open the front cover of the finisher, and then unlock the staple case by pushing the green lever down. Next, you must pull the staple case out of the finisher, and then remove the empty staple cartridge. After that, you must insert the new staple cartridge into the staple case, and then remove the seal, which is holding the staples together. Finally, you must slide the staple case into the finisher until the green lever is returned to a ‘’locked’’ position, and then close the front cover of the Finisher-N1.

Saddle Finisher-N2

In the first step, you must open the lower front cover of the finisher, and then pull the saddle stitcher unit out of the finisher (use its handle) until it stops. After that, you must grab the handle of the stapler unit and pull it towards you. Then, you must push the handle of the stapler unit up. Once the empty staple cartridge is accessible, you must pull it out of the saddle stitcher unit, and then insert the new staple cartridge. Now, you must close the stapler unit by pulling its handle towards you, and then pushing it down. In the concluding step, you must carefully push the saddle stitcher unit back to its original position, and then close the lower front cover of the Saddle Finisher-N2.
