The following directions will explain how to set up the environment for communication between the machine and computers on your network. The first action is to press SNMP Settings on the network settings screen. Then you should specify the settings for SNMP v.3. Next users should establish monitoring for the printer management information. Afterwards use the Network Settings screen and select ENABLE DEDICATED PORT. Users should next press SNTP Settings and choose among several selections. Then on the TCP/IP settings screen, select FTP Print Settings. Next on the TCP/IP screen choose WSD Print Settings and specify whether you want WSD browsing on. WSD is for print applications. You will also have the option of turning <Use WSD Browsing>off. Next you will select USE PASV FTP which will allow you to choose whether you want PASV on or off.  It is recommended that you contact your network administrator before specifying the PASV mode.
