This Toner Cartridge prints 4000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Canon specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Canon.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Canon PC-420 Personal Copier?

The main consumable components (drum, toner case, charging roller, developer unit, and cleaning assembly) of your Canon PC-420 Personal Copier are integrated into the toner cartridge. A new toner cartridge lasts approx. 4,000 pages at 5% coverage. You should replace the installed toner cartridge if any of the listed print quality problems appears.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Canon PC-420 Personal Copier

Initially, you must slide the copyboard of your Canon PC-420 Personal Copier to the left until it stops, and then open the top cover by pressing its release button. After that, you must pull the used toner cartridge out of the laser copier, and then take the new toner cartridge out of the transport box. Now, you must hold the new toner cartridge with the label facing up, and shake it 8-10 times up and down to loosen and redistribute the toner. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the sealing tape from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into the Canon PC-420 Personal Copier. Finally, you must close the top cover, and then return the copyboard to its original position.
