This Toner Cartridge prints 4000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Canon specification)

You should replace the toner cartridge installed in your Canon PC-770 when the print quality becomes unsatisfactory.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Canon PC-770

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the upper section of the Canon PC-770 by shifting the release lever up, and then remove the exhausted toner cartridge by sliding it towards you. After that, you must remove the new toner cartridge from the protective bag, and then shake it several times from side to side to redistribute the toner. Now, you must remove the seal from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into the Canon PC-770 as far as it will go. Finally, you must close the upper section of the copier.

The Canon PC770 doesn’t take a long time to warm up. As a result you will spend less time waiting for it to warm up in the morning. It comes with a flatbed scanner, but lacks an automatic document feeder.

Pros:

The Canon PC770 was mainly designed as a full featured copy machine. The device measures 19 inches by 17.2 inches, and its 44 pound weight is much lighter than a full-sized copy machine.

This unit can handle up to 100 copies at a time. Documents can be enlarged by 141%. It does not include an automatic document feeder, which is an inconvenience when printing labels or envelopes.
Toner cartridges for the Canon PC770 are affordable and yield 4,000 pages. The copier toner cartridge is very easy to replace.
The quality of copies is excellent. There are no signs of feathering and documents are crisp and clear. Copy speeds are rather slow at 10 copies per minute.

Overall, the price of this unit makes it a winner. Copy speeds are rather slow, but you can’t expect everything for the price.

Cons:

One drawback of the Canon PC770 is that it lacks color printing. Color printing is a useful feature for any office and will enhance the overall quality of your documents.
