This Toner Cartridge prints 4000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Canon specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Canon.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Canon PC-941?

The Canon PC-941 can print up to 4000 pages at 5% coverage with one toner cartridge. You can extend the lifespan of the toner cartridge by turning on the toner save mode. Please note that when the toner save mode is selected, the density correction switch decreases the overall toner density, and resp. extends the life of the installed cartridge. Please be aware that the decrease of the toner density could lead to unsatisfactory print quality.
You can determine if the toner cartridge needs to be replaced by evaluating the overall print quality results achieved by your Canon PC-941. You should install a new toner cartridge, if any of the listed print quality issues appears.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Canon PC-941

You must open the top unit of your Canon PC-941 by pulling up the lock release lever, which is located on the left side of the main unit. Then, you must grasp the tab of the used toner cartridge and pull it towards you to remove the cartridge from the copier. Please avoid shaking the used toner cartridge. After that, you must remove the new toner cartridge from the packaging material, and then shake it 8-10 times to redistribute the toner. Once the toner is redistributed, you must remove the sealing tape from the new toner cartridge by carefully pulling the gray tab away from the new component. In the next step of the installation, you must align the new toner cartridge with the guides of the compartment, but please make sure that the warning label (on the toner cartridge) is facing upwards. Finally, you must slide the new toner cartridge into the copier until it is firmly inserted, and then close the top unit.

The entire machine can easily be managed thanks to its compactness. It weights just 42.5 pounds and has dimensions of 19 5/8" x 17 5/8" x 11 3/4". Plus it comes with a front loading paper tray that can hold 250 sheets. With the Canon pc941 you get another input option that is perfect for using paper other than letter-size. This printer was built to handle your every need.

Cons: One major downside to the Canon PC-941 is that its speed leaves you waiting all too often. This is a real drawback for offices that have heavy workloads. Furthermore the machine is expensive. Finally print quality for the Canon PC-941 is subpar and is not as clear as you may wish.
