CS-1810 TONER CARTRIDGE

The toner cartridge installed in your Copystar CS-1810 Laser Printer is a consumable component, which must be replaced after approximately 7000 pages/prints at 5% coverage. The built-in system of your laser printer is constantly monitoring the toner level, and it will turn ON the [Add Toner] indicator, when a low toner level is detected. Please note that the [Add Toner] indicator illustrates six black dots in a pyramidal order with an arrow pointing toward the dots, and it is positioned next to the [Memory Overflow/Data Error] indicator. Additionally, the system will automatically print the following message ‘’Replace waste toner tank at the time of toner container exchange surely, and do charge wire cleaning’’, once it detects that the installed toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You should install a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this advance notification. Otherwise, the remaining toner will be consumed very soon, which will lead to a non-operational mode – disabling of all print functions. Please note that the non-operational mode caused by a completely exhausted toner cartridge will be also indicated by the built-in monitoring system, and you will see that the [Start] indicator is turned OFF. It is always better, if you keep a replacement toner cartridge for your Copystar CS-1810 Laser Printer in stock, but please remember to store all consumable components in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Please note that the new toner cartridge kit includes a new waste toner container, which must be installed during the toner cartridge replacement procedure. The complete replacement procedure is included below.

Initially, you must open the front cover of your Copystar CS-1810 Laser Printer. Then, you must remove the exhausted waste toner container by pulling it straight towards you. Please note that you should close the opening of the exhausted waste toner container with its lid, in order to be avoided accidental toner spillages. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must slide the exhausted toner cartridge to the left side of the compartment, and then remove the exhausted consumable component by pulling it towards you. Now, you must grab the cleaning shaft, which is located above the slot of the waste toner container, and then move it along the cleaning channel several times, but please avoid pulling the shaft completely out of the channel. After that, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it at least 15 times from side to side, in order to loosen and evenly distribute the toner. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must insert it into the printer, and then lock the new cartridge into place by sliding it to the right side of the compartment. After the toner cartridge, you must install the waste toner container by aligning it with the slot, and then pushing it towards the rear side of the compartment. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Copystar CS-1810 Laser Printer, and wait approx. 2-3 minutes, in order the automatic toner replenishment procedure to be completely executed.
