CS-1650 DEVELOPER

Initially, you must open the front and the left covers of your Copystar CS-1650 Laser Printer, and then remove the waste toner container by pulling it towards you while pushing the holder (attached to the top side of the container) to the left. Now, you must move the lock release lever of the toner cartridge to the left (unlocked position), and then remove the toner cartridge by pulling it out of the slot. After that, you must remove the inner cover, and then remove the screw from the lock release lever of the developer unit. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unlock the developer unit by pulling its lock release lever, and then detach the connector and remove the screw from the drum unit. Please avoid touching the sensitive surface of the photoconductive drum. Please note that any excessive exposure of the drum unit to direct light will damage this important component. Once you have detached the connector and the screw, you must take the drum unit out of the printer, and then remove the developer unit by slightly lifting it up and pulling towards you. At this stage of the installation, you must unpack the new developer unit, and then insert it into the printer. Finally, you must reinstall all of the previously removed components by following the current procedure in reverse order, and then close the front and the left covers of your Copystar CS-1650 Laser Printer.
