When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Toshiba e-Studio 4500c Laser Printer

One of the listed indications will appear if your Toshiba e-Studio 4500c Laser Printer detects a toner cartridge related abnormality.

� The [Add Toner] icon and the message [Install new X toner cartridge] are displayed – The indicated toner cartridge is empty. Please install a new toner cartridge of the corresponding color.

� The message [X TONER NOT RECOGNIZED] is displayed – You must make sure that the specified toner cartridge is installed correctly, and then restart the Toshiba e-Studio 4500c Laser Printer. Please replace the specified toner cartridge if the problem persists.

� The message [Toner near Empty X] is displayed – The indicated toner cartridge is nearing end of life. Please make sure that you have a replacement set of toner cartridges in stock.

� The message [Printer Error 1] is displayed – You have installed an incompatible toner cartridge. Please replace the indicated toner cartridge with a new compatible one.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Toshiba e-Studio 4500c Laser Printer

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your Toshiba e-Studio 4500c Laser Printer, and then remove the used toner cartridge by pulling its lever towards you. After that, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the box, and then shake it several times from side to side. Now, you must remove the protective seal, and then insert the new toner cartridge along the guides of the corresponding slot until it stops. Once the new toner cartridge is inserted, you must slide the corresponding cleaner unit several times in and out of its slot, and then return it to its original position. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Toshiba e-Studio 4500c Laser Printer.
