HP COLOR LASERJET 4500D COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

The built-in monitoring system of your HP Color LaserJet 4500d Printer is constantly monitoring the status of the installed toner cartridges. The system will display one or several of the listed below messages, when one or several of the installed toner cartridges are near the end of its/their useful life. You should replace the indicated toner cartridges soon after the initial appearance of the warning message on the front panel display, in order to be avoided print quality issues.

  ‘’TONER K LOW’’ – You should prepare/order a new Black toner cartridge.
  ‘’TONER C LOW’’ – You should prepare/order a new Cyan toner cartridge.
  ‘’TONER M LOW’’ – You should prepare/order a new Magenta toner cartridge.
  ‘’TONER Y LOW’’ – You should prepare/order a new Yellow toner cartridge.

One of the error messages listed below will be displayed, when the built-in system detects a completely emptied/exhausted toner cartridge. Please be aware that all print/copy operations will be disabled until a new toner cartridge of the corresponding color is installed.

  ‘’TONER K OUT’’ – You must install a new Black toner cartridge.
  ‘’TONER C OUT’’ – You must install a new Cyan toner cartridge.
  ‘’TONER M OUT’’ – You must install a new Magenta toner cartridge.
  ‘’TONER Y OUT’’ – You must install a new Magenta toner cartridge.

Please note that most print quality issues are usually caused by an exhausted, faulty, or damaged toner cartridge. Therefore, you must replace all problematic toner cartridges, if any of the listed print quality issues is constantly reappearing.

o Vertical lines or streaks
o Faded prints
o Repetitive defects
o Inconsistent colors

You should consider keeping a spare toner cartridge set for your HP Color LaserJet 4500d Printer in stock, in order to avoid interruptions of your work, but please remember to store all consumables in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Initially, you must make sure that the HP Color LaserJet 4500d Printer is in a ‘’stand-by’’ mode, and then position the empty toner cartridge by pressing the [Select] button. After that, you must press the lock release button on the left side of the laser printer, and then open the top cover. Now, you must open the cover of the corresponding toner cartridge slot, and then unlock the empty toner cartridge by rotating it towards you until it stops. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must take the empty toner cartridge out of the laser printer, and then clean the cartridge holder with the included (with the new toner cartridge) hand wipe. Once you have cleaned the slot, you must take the new toner cartridge of the corresponding color out of the protective packaging, and then remove the plastic tape from the shutter of the new component. At this stage of the replacement procedure, you must align the arrow stamped on the new toner cartridge with the guiding arrow of the slot, and then insert the new consumable component firmly into the laser printer. After that, you must lock the new toner cartridge into place by rotating it towards the rear side of the printer until it stops, and then close the cover of the slot. Finally, you must close the top cover, press the [GO] button, and then wait until the following message ‘’READY’’ is displayed on the front panel LCD.
