HP COLOR LASERJET 4500N COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

Your HP Color LaserJet 4500n Printer is equipped with a set of four toner cartridges. The toner cartridges are consumable components. The built-in system of your HP Color LaserJet 4500n Printer monitors the status of the installed toner cartridges constantly, and it will display an appropriate warning message on the control panel when an installed toner cartridge needs to be replaced. Please note that a nearly empty toner cartridge can cause various print quality issues.
Please install a new toner cartridge(s), when any of the listed messages and print quality issues appears.

• ‘’TONER CMYK LOW’’ – The indicated toner cartridge (C – Cyan; M – Magenta; Y – Yellow; K – Black) is nearly empty. You should install a new toner cartridge of the specified color, in order to be avoided poor print quality and a ‘’Toner Out’’ condition.

• ‘’TONER CMYK OUT’’ – The indicated toner cartridge is empty. You must install a new toner cartridge of the specified color to continue printing.

• Vertical lines, streaks, fade, repetitive defects, or/and inconsistent color(s).

It is recommended that you keep a new toner cartridge set for your HP Color LaserJet 4500n Printer in stock, but please store all consumable parts in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. You can find detailed instructions on how to install a new toner cartridge below.

To install a new toner cartridge in your HP Color LaserJet 4500n Printer, you must make sure that the printer is turned on, and then press the [Select] button to move the empty toner cartridge to a ‘’replacement’’ position. After that, you must open the top cover, lift the flap of the corresponding slot of the carousel, and then rotate the empty toner cartridge towards you until it stops. Now, you must take the empty toner cartridge out of the laser printer, and then use the hand wipe (included with the new toner cartridge) to clean the inside of the main unit. In the second phase of the installation, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, but please make sure that the color matches, and then pull the orange tab away from the left side of the new toner cartridge to remove the sealing tape. Please avoid shaking the new toner cartridge after the sealing tape has been removed. Next, you must align the arrow stamped on the new toner cartridge with the arrow on the corresponding slot, and then insert the new cartridge firmly into the laser printer. Once the new toner cartridge is firmly inserted, you must rotate it toward the rear side of the laser printer, and then lower the flap of the toner cartridge slot. In the concluding step, you must close the top cover, press the [Go] button, and wait until the control panel displays the following status message ‘’READY’’.
