How to Install a Drum Unit in the IBM InfoPrint 1512 Laser Printer

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of your IBM InfoPrint 1512 Laser Printer, and then pull the toner cartridge along with the attached drum unit towards you and out of the print compartment. After that, you must press the lock release button that is located on the front side of the exhausted drum unit, and then detach the toner cartridge from the exhausted drum unit. Now, you must unpack the new drum unit, and then attach the toner cartridge to the new component. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly along the guides of the printer until it stops, and then close the front cover. Finally, you must select [Utilities] – [Reset Photoconductor Counter] to reset the drum counter.
