Initially, you must switch the Konica Minolta 7040 Laser Printer off, and then unplug the power cord. After that, you must open the front door of the laser printer, and then release the lock plate of the toner supply unit by removing the fixing screw. Now, you must swing the toner supply unit to the right, and then release the conveyance lever. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the transfer corona unit, the paper feed knob, and the fixing screw of the drum unit, and then remove the drum unit by pulling it carefully towards you. Once the drum unit is removed, you must remove the charging corona unit and the developing unit, and then withdraw the drum coupling shaft. Next, you must fix the drum coupling shaft with the lock lever, and then remove the exhausted drum from the drum unit. Finally, you must unpack the new drum, and then install it by executing the current procedure in reverse order.
