New features and design are employed in FS-1100 to enhance its usability and looks. The printer’s case is styled in cream color with an accompanying dark gray color coupled with some colored highlights and smart lines to heighten distinctiveness. First of these beautiful highlights is an LED circular ring which indicates printing status such as low paper, low toner and paper jam levels. Another highlight is a notable triangular folding paper stop at the top of the printer. Operating system compatibility is also a hassle as by default, it is incompatible to newer operating systems namely Windows Vista and 7 since its compatibility are on operating systems prior to its release or in the case of Windows OS, its compatibility is only until Windows XP and so driver/s (if available, which may be found directly in the official manufacturer’s site) is/are needed to be downloaded and installed to be compatible with these newer operating systems.
