Kyocera Mita KM-1810/1810P Toner Cartridge and Waste Container - 7,000 Pages
  OVER 100

Price:  $29.89
Product Description
Kyocera Mita KM-1810 Toner Cartridge & Waste Container - 7,000 Pages

This toner cartridge prints 7000 pages with average 5% coverage (Nearly all Printer manufacturers base their ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% page coverage).

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Kyocera Mita.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge and a Waste Toner Container in the KYOCERA MITA KM-1810?
Your KYOCERA MITA KM-1810 is equipped with a built-in system for a constant toner cartridge monitoring. The system will turn on the [Add Toner] LED indicator, once it detects that the toner level is under the normal working minimum. Please note that the [Add Toner] LED illustrates six black dots in pyramidal order with an arrow pointing toward the dots, and it will be blinking, when the toner level is low. You should replace the nearly empty toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of the advance notification signal. Otherwise, the remaining toner will be completely consumed very soon, which will lead to the disabling of all print operations. This non-operational printer mode will be also indicated, and you will see the following message ''Replace waste toner tank at the time of toner container exchange surely, and do charge wire cleaning.''. Please note that the described above error message will be printed by the built-in system, immediately after an exhausted toner cartridge has been detected. Additionally, the [Add Toner] LED will be continuously lit. The only available action, in order to be restored the full/normal functionality of your KYOCERA MITA KM-1810, is an installation of a new toner cartridge and a new waste toner container. The complete replacement procedure is included below.
How to Install a Toner Cartridge and a Waste Toner Container in the KYOCERA MITA KM-1810
Initially, you must open the front cover of your KYOCERA MITA KM-1810 laser printer. Then, you must remove the waste toner container by carefully pulling it towards you. Please note that you should use the included (to the exhausted waste toner container) tape to seal the exhausted waste toner container, in order to be avoided waste toner spillages. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by gently sliding it to the left side of the printer, and then remove the exhausted consumable component by pulling it straight towards you. After that, you must clean the primary corona wire of the installed drum unit by pulling the cleaning shaft (located on the top-right corner of the waste toner container slot) towards you, and then push the cleaning shaft back to its original position. Please note that you should move the cleaning shaft several times, in order the primary corona wire of the installed drum unit to be optimally cleaned, and resp. to be avoided future print quality issues. Now, you must unpack the new toner cartridge and the new waste toner container, and then loosen and evenly distribute the toner by shaking the new toner cartridge 8-10 times horizontally. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must insert it into the slot, and then lock the new component into place by gently sliding it to the right side of the laser printer. In the next step, you must install the new waste toner container into the printer, but please make sure that it is completely inserted into the slot. Finally, you must close the front cover of your KYOCERA MITA KM-1810, and wait for the automatic toner replenishment procedure to be executed (approx. 3 minutes).

Kyocera Mita KM-1810 Printer Review

The Kyocera Mita KM-1810 is an outstanding desktop digital copier. Output is good and it offers 600 X 600dpi resolution. Users love the fact that it only needs 30 seconds to warm up and then the first copy is out in 6.3 seconds. When printing letterhead it produces 18 pages per minute.

One advantage of the Kyocera Mita KM-1810 is that it can print on a variety of types of paper. It can print on recycled paper, transparencies, labels, and envelopes, thus meeting the typical every day needs of any office.

The KM-1810 offers high quality copying and printing at a speed of up to 18 pages per minute. It is perfect for a personal printer or for your home office. The Kyocera Mita KM-1810 is well designed and will look good in any home.

The KM-1810 is equipped with a standard 30-sheet document feeder which allows users to handle larger sets of originals automatically. The new, easy to use control panel offers several special functions, which include an automatic paper selection, magnification selection, text mode, photo mode, contrast settings, and 50% - 200% zoom.

The control panel on the KM-1810 is easy to use. Every button is clearly labeled so you won’t wind up being confused about how to use its functions.

One thing that the Kyocera Mita KM-1810 lacks is that it can only handle 300 sheets of paper. That is quite limiting.
