When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Lanier 5622 Multifunctional Device?

You should replace the installed toner cartridge when any of the listed indications appears.

Printouts are faded – You must make sure that the paper size is appropriate, and then select higher/darker image density settings. Please replace the installed toner cartridge if the problem persists.

The [Add Toner] icon appears – The installed toner cartridge is at the end of its useful life. Please install a new toner cartridge in your Lanier 5622 Multifunctional Device.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Lanier 5622 Multifunctional Device

Initially, you must open the front cover of the Lanier 5622 Multifunctional Device, and then raise the handle of the toner cartridge holder. Next, you must unlock the toner cartridge holder by pushing the green release lever down, and then slide the holder towards you until it stops. After that, you must unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by pushing it towards the main unit, and then remove the exhausted component from the machine. Now, you must shake the new toner cartridge at least ten times from side to side, and then remove the black outer cap. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new toner cartridge into the holder, and then push the holder towards the main unit until it locks into place. Finally, you must close the front cover of the Lanier 5622 Multifunctional Device.

Pros:

Paper handling capabilities include two 500-sheet trays and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray. Additional paper trays can be added to increase the capacity to 3,100 sheet. The Lanier 5622 also offers automatic duplexing unit and 50-page document feeder.

Output quality with the Lanier 5622 is outstanding. Black and white prints are clear and easy to read. Additionally, there are no signs of smudging.

Each drum unit yields 60,000. The toner yield (480-0068) is estimated at 11,000 pages at 6 percent page coverage. There is also a save toner mode that allows users to reduce the amount of toner used when printing drafts. This cuts down on the overall cost of operating the Lanier 5622.
