This toner cartridge prints 11000 pages with average 5% coverage (Nearly all Printer manufacturers base their ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% page coverage).

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Fuser Assembly Unit in the Lanier LD122 Laser Copier?

The Lanier LD122 Laser Copier will display one of the listed error codes if it detects a fuser related abnormality.

� [541] or [542] – The installed fuser assembly unit does not reach operational temperature. You must make sure that the fuser assembly unit is correctly installed and connected, and then test the Lanier LD122 Laser Copier. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

� [543], [544], or [545] – The temperature of the installed fuser assembly unit exceeds the operational specifications. You should switch the Lanier LD122 Laser Copier off, wait at least ten minutes to allow the installed fuser assembly unit to cool, and then test the copier. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

� [546] – This is an indication for excessive fuser temperature fluctuations. You must make sure that the fuser assembly unit is correctly installed and connected, and then test the laser copier. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

� [548] – The Lanier LD122 Laser Copier does not detect the fuser assembly unit. You must make sure that the fuser assembly unit is installed, and then test the laser copier. Please install a new fuser assembly unit if the error persists.

How to Install a Fuser Assembly Unit in the Lanier LD122 Laser Copier

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must switch the Lanier LD122 Laser Copier off, and then wait at least ten minutes to allow the installed fuser assembly unit to cool. After that, you must release the duplex unit, and then open the right cover of the copier. Now, you must remove the two mounting screws of the installed fuser assembly unit, and then pull the fuser assembly unit out of the Lanier LD122 Laser Copier. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unpack the new fuser assembly unit, and then insert it into the laser copier. Once the new fuser assembly unit is inserted, you must secure it into place by tightening the two mounting screws, and then close the right cover of the copier. Finally, you must return the duplex unit to its original position, and then switch the Lanier LD122 Laser Copier on.

Pros:

It may not be the fastest printer on the market, but for the price it offers good printing speeds. It can print up to 22 pages per minute while offering a price-to-performance ratio that is quite good, and the machine will save users time in other ways, which should balance things out quite well. Paper handling is never a problem thanks to its maximum paper capacity of 3,100 sheets. This reduces the need to refill paper regularly. There are also outstanding finishing options for the Lanier LD 122 that will save you time.
Toner cartridges are easy to replace and affordable. They yield over 11,000 pages. As a result you will have to change toner cartridges less often.
