HP LASERJET 4345MFP TONER CARTRIDGE

The lifespan of the toner cartridge installed in your HP LaserJet 4345MFP depends upon various factors, such as the type of used paper, the average percentage of page coverage, the average number of pages printed per print task, the used print quality settings, etc… You can increase the lifespan of this consumable component by turning on the ‘’HP ECONOMODE’’, and/or by selecting a lower toner density. Please be aware that the print quality will be lower, if you choose to use the ‘’HP ECONOMODE’’.

The built-in system of your multifunctional laser printer is constantly monitoring the status/condition of the installed toner cartridge, and it will display an appropriate message/notification on the control LCD, when a toner cartridge related problem occurs. Please follow the instructions given below, if any of the listed messages appears on the operational display.

• ‘’10.XX.YY SUPPLY MEMORY ERROR’’ – The information received from the toner cartridge sensor is incorrect. You should reinstall the toner cartridge, because this issue is usually caused by an incorrect installation of the toner cartridge. Please install a new toner cartridge, if the error message persists.

• ‘’CARTRIDGE FAILURE RETURN FOR REPLACEMENT’’ – The sealing tape has not been completely removed from the new toner cartridge during the replacement procedure. You should remove the toner cartridge from the printer, try to detach the remaining sealing tape, and then reinstall the toner cartridge. A new toner cartridge must be installed, if the problem persists.

• ‘’CARTRIDGE OUT REPLACE CARTRIDGE’’ – There is no toner left in the installed cartridge. The only available action is the installation of a new toner cartridge. Please be aware that all print operations will be disabled until the new toner cartridge is installed.

• ‘’INSTALL CARTRIDGE’’ – The built-in monitoring system is not receiving data from the toner cartridge sensor. You should make sure that the toner cartridge is installed correctly. Please install a new toner cartridge, if the issue persists.

• ‘’ORDER CARTRIDGE’’ – This warning message indicates that the installed toner cartridge is running out of toner, resp. it is nearly empty. You should prepare/purchase a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this message on the control display.

Please note that you can check the condition and the remaining print resource of all installed consumable components by printing a supplies status page. You should always keep a spare toner cartridge for your HP LaserJet 4345MFP in stock, but please store this component in a proper environment: temperature between -20degreesC and 40degreesC/-4degreesF to 104degreesF, 10%-90% relative humidity, away from direct light.

Initially, you must open the top cover (scanner section) of your HP LaserJet 4345MFP, and then remove the exhausted/emptied toner cartridge. After that, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the protective aluminum bag, and then shake it 7-8 times from side to side, in order to loosen and evenly distribute the toner. Please avoid prolonged exposures of the new toner cartridge to direct sunlight or strong artificial light. Now, you must grab the tab of the protective sealing tape and pull it out of the new toner cartridge until the sealing tape is completely removed. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must align the prepared new toner cartridge with the guides of the toner cartridge slot, and then slide the new component into the slot until it stops. Finally, you must close the top cover (scanner section), and then test your HP LaserJet 4345MFP.
