When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Lexmark C510 Color Laser Printer?
You can check the status of the installed toner cartridges from the [Supplies Life] menu. An installed toner cartridge(s) must be replaced if any of the listed messages appears on the LCD screen of your Lexmark C510 Color Laser Printer.

[30 Toner Cart. Missing] – The built-in monitoring system of your Lexmark C510 Color Laser Printer cannot detect the specified toner cartridge. You should reinstall the specified toner cartridge, and then test the laser printer. Please replace the indicated toner cartridge if the problem persists.

[32 Unsupported Print Cartridge] – The indicated toner cartridge is designed for use in a different printer model. Please install a new compatible toner cartridge.

[88 Toner Low] – The indicated toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You should install a new toner cartridge soon.

[88 Toner Empty] – The specified toner cartridge is empty. Printing will not continue until a new toner cartridge of the corresponding color is installed.
How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Lexmark C510 Color Laser Printer
You must start the replacement procedure by opening the front door of your Lexmark C510 Color Laser Printer. Then, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling it straight towards you. After that, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it 5-6 times up and down. Now, you must remove the sealing tape and the protective cover from the new toner cartridge, and then slide the new component into the corresponding slot until it stops. Finally, you must close the front door, and then reset the toner counter by selecting [Supplies Menu] – [Replace Supplies] – [Toner Cartridge Color].
