LEXMARK T522 TONER CARTRIDGE

You should install a new toner cartridge in your Lexmark T522 Laser Printer if:

The installed toner cartridge is nearly empty or empty
The installed toner cartridge is defective or has been damaged
The installed toner cartridge has expired

All print quality problems, which indicate toner cartridge abnormalities, are listed below.

The background of the printout is grey or stained
Blank printouts (nothing is printed)
Vertical asymmetric streaks appear on the printout
Solid black printouts

You must make sure that the toner cartridge is installed correctly if any of the listed print quality problems occurs. The installed toner cartridge must be replaced if print quality does not improve.

All system notifications indicating a toner-cartridge status change or problem are listed below.

[Close Door or Insert Cartridge] – You must make sure that the toner cartridge is installed in accordance with the installation instructions (available further below), and then close the upper front door of your Lexmark T522 Laser Printer. The installed toner cartridge must be replaced if it is installed correctly, but the notification is still displayed. The installation of a new toner cartridge is required because the installed cartridge is defective or has been damaged.

[Toner Low] – The installed toner cartridge is equipped with a special chip that sends status information to the built-in monitoring system. The machine will display the listed notification when the toner level drops under 5%. You should install a new toner cartridge soon in order to be maintained optimal print quality and to be avoided printing delays.

[Defective Print Cartridge] – The Lexmark T522 Laser Printer has detected a critical hardware error. All print/copy operations are disabled in this situation. You must install a new toner cartridge.

[Unsupported Print Cartridge] – You have installed a toner cartridge that has been designed for a different printer model. Please install a new, compatible toner cartridge.

Initially, you must turn the Lexmark T522 Laser Printer off and unplug the power cord. Then, you must open the front door. After that, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the main compartment, and then clean the inside and the outside of the laser printer. Please do not touch the drum on the underside of the new toner cartridge. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it 7-8 times from side to side. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must insert it firmly into the printer, and then close the front door. Next, you must turn the printer on, and print five sheets of paper. Finally, you must print five more sheets of paper to maintain printer feeding reliability.
