The most common indications for an exhausted drum unit are listed and explained below.

Blank printouts, or blank spots on the printed page – You must check the installed toner cartridges for damages, and then load new, dry media. Please also make sure that the media settings in the printer driver match the type of loaded media. The installed drum unit will have to be replaced if print quality does not improve after you have performed the above troubleshooting methods.

Entire sheet is printed in black or color; Image is too dark; Images are blurred; Print density is uneven; – You must make sure that the loaded file does not contain solid black or color pages. [I/C Low] – The components of the installed drum unit are near the end of their useful life. You should purchase a new drum unit.
