KONICA MINOLTA MAGICOLOR 4650 COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

Your Konica Minolta MagiColor 4650 Color Laser Printer is equipped with four toner cartridges. You can check the status of the installed toner cartridges from the status window. Please note that you can extend the lifespan of the installed toner cartridges by turning on the Economy Print feature, which helps reducing the amount of toner that is used by decreasing the image/graphics density (may affect print quality). Various print-quality issues and system indications will appear when an installed toner cartridge reaches near the end of its useful life. All of these indications are listed and explained below.

Image density is too low – The most common cause for this problem is a nearly empty toner cartridge(s). Therefore, you should try to solve the problem by replacing all nearly empty toner cartridges. If the problem persists after all nearly empty toner cartridges have been replaced, you must clean the laser lens, and then load new, dry media into the input tray.

Color density is uneven – You must make sure that the Konica Minolta MagiColor 4650 Color Laser Printer is placed on a flat, leveled surface, and then print a test page. If the problem is still present, you should check the installed toner cartridges for damages. All damaged toner cartridges must be replaced.

Vertical image defects – You should try to solve the problem by cleaning the laser lens. If the problem persists, you must check the installed toner cartridges for damages (toner leakages). Please replace all defective/damaged toner cartridges.

[INCORRECT TONER X] is displayed – The indicated toner cartridge cannot be used in your Konica Minolta MagiColor 4650 Color Laser Printer. Please replace the indicated toner cartridge with a new, compatible product.

[TONER OUT X] or [TONER OUT REPLACE X] – The specified toner cartridge is at the end of its useful life and must be replaced. Please install a new toner cartridge of the corresponding color.

[TONER LOW X] – The indicated toner cartridge is nearly empty and should be replaced within 1,200 pages at 5% coverage. You must make sure that you have a replacement toner cartridge set in stock.

[TONER MISSING CHECK X] – The Konica Minolta MagiColor 4650 Color Laser Printer does not detect the specified toner cartridge. The specified toner cartridge is missing, defective, or has been installed incorrectly. You should try to solve the problem by reinstalling the specified toner cartridge. Please install a new X toner cartridge if the problem persists.

Initially, you must open the front cover of your Konica Minolta MagiColor 4650 Color Laser Printer. Then, you must pull the front cover of the slot (where the exhausted toner cartridge is installed) to the right. Please note that the installed toner cartridges are arranged in the following order (left – right): Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and Black. Next, you must lower the lock release lever of the exhausted toner cartridge, and then remove the exhausted cartridge by pulling it straight towards you. After that, you must remove the new toner cartridge from the plastic bag (make sure that the color matches), and then shake the new component 4-5 times from side to side. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must slide it into the corresponding slot until it stops, and then peel off the protective film. Now, you must raise the lock release lever of the new toner cartridge and push it towards the machine until it clicks into place. In the concluding step of the replacement procedure, you must pull the front cover of the slot to the left, and then close the front cover of the Konica Minolta MagiColor 4650 Color Laser Printer.
