This toner cartridge prints 2000 pages with average 5% coverage (Nearly all Printer manufacturers base their ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% page coverage).

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

Setting the Telephone Line Type on the Canon Copier ImageClass MF4270

The default setting is TOUCHTONE. First press ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS. Then you need to use the press – or + to select and press [OK]. Next use the “-“ or “+” to select the telephone line type, then select OK. Finally press STOP/RESET to return to the standby mode.

Timer Settings on the Canon Copier ImageClass MF4270

If you leave your machine sitting it automatically enters the sleep mode. First select [Additional Functions]. Then press – or + to choose TIMER SETTINGS and hit OK. Then press the – or + arrow to choose AUTO SLEEP and select OK. Then select – or + O then select OK. The select – or + to choose the desired interval and hit OK.

Setting the Daylight Saving Time on the Canon Copier ImageClass MF4270

The default setting for daylight savings time is off. First press [Additional Functions]. Then press up or down using the arrows and choose [Timer Settings]. Then press the arrows until you come to [Daylight SV.Time] then select [OK]. Now use the arrows to turn it [ON] and then select [OK]. Then use the arrows to select the [Start Date Time] and then press [OK]. Next use the arrows to select [MONTH] and then press [OK]. Then use the arrows to choose the [WEEK] then select [OK]. The following step is to use the arrows to set the [DAY] then press [OK]. Finally press [Additional Functions] and select the [END DATE/TIME] and hit [OK].

Overview: The Canon Copier ImageClass MF4270 packs it all with printing and scanning capabilities. This makes it an outstanding choice for your home or small business. It offers copy speeds of up to 21 pages per minute in black and white and offers a 600X600 dpi resolution. With it you get a flatbed scanner that offers 24-bit color and an 8.5" x 14" scan bed that is perfect for books. It does an excellent job reducing and enlarging copies and comes with a 35 page automatic document feeder.

Pros: The ImageClass MF4270's comes network-ready with an Ethernet port on the back. Batch scanning, copying, and faxing can easily be done with the ADF. The autoduplexer makes your life easier when making double-sided prints and copies. Canonâs toner save mode reduces the amount of toner that you use when printing which will reduce operation cost. The output quality is not as high when using the toner-save mode, but is perfect for printing internally. The MF4270 has a power-save mode when it hasnât been used for a period of time. The features of this copier are easy to use. All you have to do is to enter how many copies you want using the keypad. Furthermore you can reduce or enlarge copiers from 25 percent to 200 percent. Plus it will produce double-sided copies and 2-on-1 prints.

Cons: Scan and fax features with this copier are somewhat limited. If you are purchasing this printer for a large office you may need something more.
