When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W Laser Printer?

The Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W Laser Printer can print up to 6,000 pages with one toner cartridge. You can extend the lifespan of the installed toner cartridge by activating the Toner Save feature ([Quality] – [Toner Save]). You can check the status of the installed toner cartridge from the Supplies Status section of the Status Display. One of the listed indications will appear when the installed toner cartridge reaches end of life.

� The message [Toner Low] is displayed

� Poor print quality

The [Ready] indicator is on, and the [Error] indicator flashes.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W Laser Printer

Initially, you must open the front cover of the Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W Laser Printer, and then remove the drum unit together with the exhausted toner cartridge from the main compartment. After that, you must turn the toner cartridge release-lever towards the center of the drum unit, and then pull the exhausted toner cartridge out of the drum unit. Now, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the transport box, and then shake it 8-10 times up and down. Please do not touch the developing roller of the new toner cartridge. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the protective cover from the developing roller of the new toner cartridge, and then align the colored projection on the new component with the colored guide on the drum unit. Once the new toner cartridge is correctly aligned, you must insert it into the drum unit, and then install the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly (imaging unit) into the Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W Laser Printer. Finally, you must close the front cover of the laser printer.

The Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W is an outstanding printer for a small office. The unit offers outstanding print speeds. Toner cartridges are affordable and yield 3,000 pages.
This unit offers outstanding value. Not only is it affordable, but it comes with a USB cable. Sometimes it does have some problems when it comes to handling paper.

Pros:

This unit is stylish and will look great in your office. The outside has a two-tone silver and gray look that is very attractive, with rounded edges that soften its corners to give it a more pleasing look.
Toner cartridges come in different capacities. The standard toner cartridge yields 3,000 pages and the high yield cartridge produces 6,000 pages. Toner cartridges are easy to access. The unit is very affordable and offers low printing costs. It also has a toner save mode, making it an economical option.
Output quality is outstanding. Text are readable at four point fonts. Graphics are above average, but you will see some fuzziness. It can print 17 pages per minute for text and 9 pages a minute for graphics.
Overall, the Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W is one of the most economical printers available for the home or small office user. It also produces excellent quality prints at good speeds.

Cons:

One drawback is that it isn’t well built. Also the front panel is basic, but works well.
