MAGICOLOR 2480MF COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2480mf is a color laser devise which is using four toner cartridges. Each one of them is for the one of the four basic colors in printing (Cyan, Magenta, Black and Yellow) When one of those cartridges becomes out of toner the machine can’t be used until you replace it with a new one. When that happens, a message will appear on your screen. The message will say “X TONER EMPTY. REPLACE X TONER”. In this case X is the color of the empty cartridge. To replace it first press the TC Change key until on the display is written REPLACE MODE and CHANGE X TONER. This is necessary so that the machine to move the right cartridge into position to be replaced. Then carefully lift the scanner unit up by pulling the small lever that is beneath it. Then you will see a small lever in front of you pull it and open the engine cover, after that pull the front cover toward you to open it. When it is done you will see the cartridges with the empty one standing on top of the others. There is a handle in the middle of the cartridge pull it and take the cartridge out. Prepare the new one of the same color and shake it several times to distribute the toner inside. Then you must notice that there are two holes on both sides in the cartridge place. These are the holes where the both sides of the cartridge must lie. Then insert the cartridge inside until it snaps into its right place. Check if the cartridge is secured into its position and if it is installed correctly, if that is so, close the front cover. Put the engine’s cover back don until it’s locked and the return the scanner unit in its original position. When you are ready with the replacement push the Stop/Reset key to erase the message from the screen and continue printing. You can follow all these steps to replace any of the cartridges in this printer. When you turn the machine back ON it will begin a calibration cycle that will assure the cartridges proper working.
