C3200 MULTIPURPOSE ROLLER ASSEMBLY

The transfer belt installed in your OKIDATA C3200 has a printing resource for approximately 50000 A4 pages, and you will have to replace this consumable component, when it reaches or it is near to the maximal prints number. You could easily check the remaining print resource of the transfer belt installed in your laser printer by starting the PC/MAC software, which is supplied/included with the printer, and by navigating to the ''USAGE MENU''. Once you have reached the ''USAGE MENU'', you will see a spreadsheet with two columns. The first column is specifying the printer's component or internal counter. In the second column, next to each component or counter, is presented the current value of the counter or the remaining print resource of the specific consumable component. Therefore, you must scroll down to ''REMAINING BELT LIFE'' and look at the second column, where you will see the remaining print resource of the transfer belt in %. It is recommended, the transfer belt to be replaced, if its remaining print resource is 10 or less %.

In the first step of the current replacement procedure, you must switch off your printer and wait for at least 10 minutes, in order to allow the fuser unit to cool down. After that, you must open the top cover of your OKIDATA C3200 by pressing its lock release button, and then remove all drum unit and toner cartridge assemblies from the compartment by carefully pulling each assembly upwards and placing it in a place away from direct light or heat. Now, you must unlock the exhausted transfer belt by turning both of its locking screws counterclockwise about 90degrees, and then remove the exhausted transfer belt from the printer. Then, you must take the new transfer belt out of the transport packaging. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new transfer belt into the printer, but please make sure that its drive gear is located into the gear of the printer, and then secure the new component by turning both of its locking screws clockwise about 90degrees. Once the new transfer belt is installed, you must reinstall all of the previously removed toner cartridge and drum unit assemblies, but please make sure to follow the correct installation order (from the rear side of the printer): Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Finally, you must completely close the top cover, and then test your OKIDATA C3200.
