C5100N YELLOW TONER CARTRIDGE

Your OkiData C5100N Color Laser Printer uses Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and Black toner to produce full-color printouts. Each of the four installed toner cartridges has a lifespan of approx. 5,000 A4 pages at 5% coverage. You can check the percentage of toner remaining in the installed toner cartridges from the [Usage] menu. An installed toner cartridge should be replaced when any of the listed messages and print quality problems appears.

[REPLACE TONER 410: YELLOW], [REPLACE TONER 411: MAGENTA], [REPLACE TONER 412: CYAN], and [REPLACE TONER 413: BLACK] – The indicated toner cartridge is empty and have to be replaced. You should replace the indicated toner cartridge to resume printing/copying.

[<Color> TONER SENSOR ERROR] – The corresponding toner cartridge is missing or has been installed incorrectly. You must make sure that the specified consumable component is installed correctly. Please install a new toner cartridge of the corresponding color if the problem persists.

[ORDER <Color> TONER] – This message will appear on the second line of the display when an installed toner cartridges reaches near the end of its useful life. You should order a new set of toner cartridges when the above message appears.

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the top cover of your OkiData C5100N Color Laser Printer, and then unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling its colored lever towards the [On Line] button. Next, you must lift the right end of the exhausted toner cartridge, and then remove the cartridge by pulling it to the right. After that, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the transport box, and then shake it at least 10 times from side to side. Now, you must remove the protective tape from the toner roller, and then slide the left end of the new toner cartridge against the spring located inside the corresponding slot. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must push the right end of the new toner cartridge into the slot, and then push the colored lever forward to lock the new component. Finally, you must close the top cover of your OkiData C5100N Color Laser Printer.
