Panasonic KX-FLB801 Toner Cartridge - 5,000 Pages
  OVER 100

Price:  $11.89
Product Description
Toner Cartridge For Panasonic KX-FLB801 Laser Printer

This toner cartridge prints 5000 pages with average 5% coverage (Nearly all Printer manufacturers base their ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% page coverage).

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Panasonic.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

Panasonic KX-FLB801 Multifunction Printer Review

With a built in automatic document feeder and 33.6 Kbps fax modem, the Panasonic KX-FLB801 Multifunction Printer covers all bases when it comes to a basic all in one unit. The device’s performance specifications are a little dated but, nevertheless, it is still a versatile and highly function print/copy machine, and can be found at discount prices online.

The unit’s built in automatic document feeder only accommodates up to 40 pages of input, but it is still a very welcome feature for a small desktop multifunctional unit. When utilizing the ADF, users can load multiple pages of input, making larger scan, fax, and copy projects almost hands free. No duplexing hardware is included with the printer, though a manual duplex mode is usable.

As a fax machine, the Panasonic KX-FLB801 Multifunction Printer covers all its bases. Its built in Super G3 modem is up to par with any current standard and is capable of sending and receiving faxes at a rate of about 2 or 3 seconds per page. A fax page memory is also incorporated into the printer, allowing incoming fax data to be stored digitally when immediate printing is not an option due to paper outages or occupation of the printer. Other basic fax functions include a convenient dedicated number pad for easy dialing and storage of numbers and caller ID.

Paper handling for the Panasonic KX-FLB801 Multifunction Printer is fairly straightforward. A single 250 sheet paper tray is provided with the unit, though additional trays can be purchased from Panasonic for greater storage capacity. Unfortunately, no single sheet bypass slot is included so if users wish to rotate between multiple types of paper input, they are required to either purchase an additional tray, or constantly swap back and forth between types by hand.

In a very bizarre move by Panasonic, the Panasonic KX-FLB801 Multifunction Printer is not equipped with a basic On/Off button. This makes turning the device off more trouble than usual, and provides a significant downside for those who don’t leave their printer on at all times.

Though the device has come down in price at least a hundred dollars since its inception, the unit’s poor print speed still keeps it from being a true value. Topping out at only 18 pages per minute for letter sized paper, the device falls well behind its competitors currently on the market. Its print resolution is also fairly bare bones and tops out at only 600 x 600 dots per inch, making imagery printing fairly grainy and pixilated.
