When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Xerox Phaser 4400 Laser Printer?

You should replace the installed toner cartridge if:

� The PrinterMap message [Low Toner] is displayed

� The PrinterMap message [No Toner] is displayed

� The overall toner density/darkness is too low

� Nothing is printed

� Printouts are solid black

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Xerox Phaser 4400 Laser Printer

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must press the release button of the front cover, and then open the cover by pulling it towards you. After that, you must pull the used toner cartridge out of your Xerox Phaser 4400 Laser Printer, and then remove the protective material from the new toner cartridge. Now, you must shake the new toner cartridge at least 10 times up and down, and then pull the plastic tape out of the cartridge. Finally, you must insert the new toner cartridge into the laser printer, and then close the front cover.

The Xerox Phaser 4400 is perfect for your heavy duty printing needs. It produces outstanding text and graphics and is fast. This unit has a duty cycle of 150,000 pages per month. The printer is easy to set up. This unit comes with a USB 2.0 port for local connections, as well as an Ethernet port for network operation (the 4400B model offers everything but the Ethernet port). An installation poster walks you through the general setup, and a 37-page setup and quick-reference guide delves into more detail, although you may not need it.

Pros:

You won’t go wrong with the Xerox Phaser 4400. Print resolutions with this unit are 1200 X 1200 dpi and 600 X 600dpi and it produces the first page in just 11 seconds. The unit can print 26 pages per minute.
This unit is well designed even though it is more expensive than other printers in its class. Networking is possible over a variety of environments and you don't need an IT expert to use it.
