AFICIO 1015 UPPER FUSER ROLLER

Important: You must turn off the main power switch of your Ricoh Aficio 1015 Laser Printer, unplug its power cable, and wait at least one hour, before proceeding with the current replacement procedure.

Initially, you must open the front right cover of your Ricoh Aficio 1015 Laser Printer, and then open the right cover. After that, you must release the fuser unit by detaching its two locking screws and the two connectors. Now, you must remove the fuser unit from the laser printer by pulling it towards you, and then separate the two sections (the upper roller section, and the pressure roller section) of the removed component by removing the four screws. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must detach the front and the rear metal holding plates from the upper roller section by removing their screws, and then remove the fuser lamp by detaching its screws. Once the fuser lamp is removed, you must detach the 2 c-rings, the gear, and the 2 bearings from the exhausted upper fuser roller, and then unpack the new component. Please remove the stripper pawls from the upper fuser section before installing the new upper fuser roller, in order to be avoided damages to the new component. At this stage of the installation, you must attach the 2 c-rings, the gear, and the 2 bearings, to the new upper fuser roller, and then return all of the previously removed components to their original places by following the current procedure in reverse order. Finally, you must close the covers, and test your Ricoh Aficio 1015 Laser Printer.
