AFICIO 2060 DRUM

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must switch the Ricoh Aficio 2060 Printer off, then open the front cover, and then remove the shutter cover. Next, you must remove the lock screw of the toner cartridge holder, and then remove the toner cartridge. After that, you must swing the toner cartridge holder to the right, and then detach the faceplate from the developing unit by removing the knob and the two screws. Once the faceplate is removed, you must close the supply pipe shutter, and then unplug the two connectors of the developing unit. Now, you must pull the developing unit carefully out of the Ricoh Aficio 2060 Printer, and then unplug the connector of the charge corona unit. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the mounting screw of the charge corona unit, and then pull the charge corona unit towards you to remove it. Please place a sheet of paper under the drum unit before proceeding with the next step. Next, you must remove the screw that fixes the drum unit into place, and then unplug the drum connector. After that, you must pull the drum unit out of the printer, and then detach the exhausted drum. Now, you must unpack the new drum, and then apply setting powder to the surface of the new component. Please make sure that the entire length of the drum is covered with setting powder. Once the new drum is prepared, you must insert it into the drum unit, and then rotate it one revolution clockwise. Please do not rotate the drum counterclockwise. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must reinstall the drum unit, the charge corona unit, the developing unit, and the toner cartridge by executing the current procedure in reverse order. Finally, you must activate [Automatic Adjustment of Drum Conditions] by executing the short procedure that is included below.

1. Press the [Clear Mode] key, and then enter [107].
2. Press and hold down the [Clear/Stop] button for about 4 seconds, and then select [Copy SP].
3. Select [2962], and then push [Execute].
