When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh Aficio 3035 Laser Printer?

The built-in monitoring system of your Ricoh Aficio 3035 Laser Printer will display an appropriate warning message on the control LCD, when it detects a consumable component/components related abnormality. There are two messages, which are indicating that the installed toner cartridge must be replaced. These messages are listed below.

• ‘’Toner is almost empty.’’ – The remaining toner is enough for less than 90 new prints/copies. You should install a new toner cartridge, because the print quality will be drastically decreased during the ‘’low toner’’ period.

• ‘’Replace Toner Bottle’’ – Your Ricoh Aficio 3035 is in a non-operational mode, caused by a completely exhausted toner cartridge. All print/copy operations will be disabled, until a new toner cartridge is installed. Please install a new toner cartridge by following the instructions given below.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Ricoh Aficio 3035 Laser Printer

Initially, you must open the front cover of your Ricoh Aficio 3035 laser printer. Then, you must raise the handle of the toner cartridge holder. After that, you must push the green lock release lever of the holder towards the right side of the machine, and then carefully pull the toner cartridge holder towards you until it stops. Now, you must gently push the exhausted toner cartridge towards the main unit to unlock it, and then remove the cartridge from the holder. In the next step of the installation, you must shake the new toner cartridge at least 10 times from side to side, and then remove its outer black cap. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must insert its rear end into the holder, and then lower its front end. Immediately after that, you must push the toner cartridge holder into the printer until it clicks into place, and then lower its handle. Finally, you must close the front cover of your laser printer.
