RICOH AFICIO 3045 TONER CARTRIDGE

The toner cartridge installed in your Ricoh Aficio 3045 Laser Printer is a consumable component, which has a print resource (toner) for approx. 30000 prints at 5% page coverage. Please note that the lifespan of the installed toner cartridge will be shorter, if the average percentage of page coverage is greater/higher than 5%. The precise built-in system of your laser printer is constantly monitoring the amount of remaining toner in the installed cartridge. The system will display one of the listed below messages, when a new toner cartridge must be installed.

➢ ‘’[Add Toner Sign] Toner is almost empty.’’ – The installed toner cartridge is nearly empty. You should prepare/purchase a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this message. Please be aware that the remaining toner is enough for a very limited number of new prints (less than 90 copies/prints). Please note that the print quality will be drastically decreased during the ‘’low toner’’ period.

➢ ‘’Replace Toner Bottle’’ – The installed toner cartridge has been exhausted. You must install the prepared new toner cartridge.

It is always a good idea, if you keep spare toner cartridge/cartridges for your Ricoh Aficio 3045 Laser Printer in stock, but please remember to store this consumable component on a flat surface in a cool, dry, and dark room/area. Please install the new toner cartridge by following the instructions given below.

In the initial phase of the installation, you must remove the exhausted/emptied toner cartridge. Therefore, you must open the front cover of your Ricoh Aficio 3045 Laser Printer, and then pull the lever of the toner cartridge holder upwards to a horizontal position (90degrees). After that, you must grab the green lever, which is located below the toner cartridge holder, and pull it to the right. Now, you must gently pull the toner cartridge holder towards you until it stops, and then push the exhausted toner cartridge towards the rear side of the holder. In the next step, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the holder, and then unpack the new cartridge. Once the new toner cartridge is unpacked, you must shake it 7-8 times horizontally, and then remove its black outer cap. At this stage of the installation, you must insert the prepared new toner cartridge into the toner cartridge holder, and then push the holder towards the machine until it clicks into place. Finally, you must lower the lever of the toner cartridge holder, and then close the front cover of your Ricoh Aficio 3045 Laser Printer.
