RICOH AFICIO 3228C COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

Your Ricoh Aficio 3228C Laser Printer is equipped with four toner cartridges, which are consumable components with certain, limited lifespan. Because of that, the built-in monitoring system is constantly monitoring the toner level of each installed toner cartridge. The monitoring system will display one or several of the listed below messages, in order to notify you when a new toner cartridge/cartridges is/are needed.

  ‘’[Add Toner Sign] Toner is almost empty. Black’’ – The installed Black toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You should purchase/prepare a new Black toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this advance notification, in order to avoid interruptions of your work.

  ‘’[Add Toner Sign] Toner is almost empty. Cyan’’ – The installed Cyan toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You should purchase/prepare a new Cyan toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this advance notification, in order to avoid interruptions of your work.

  ‘’[Add Toner Sign] Toner is almost empty. Magenta’’ – The installed Magenta toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You should purchase/prepare a new Magenta toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this advance notification, in order to avoid interruptions of your work.

  ‘’[Add Toner Sign] Toner is almost empty. Yellow’’ – The installed Yellow toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You should purchase/prepare a new Yellow toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of this advance notification, in order to avoid interruptions of your work.

  ‘’No toner: XXXX, XXXX’’ – The indicated toner cartridges are empty, which has caused a non-operational mode. You must install new toner cartridges of the specified color, in order to finish your current print task or/and to print new documents.

In the first step of the installation, you must open the upper right cover of your Ricoh Aficio 3228C Laser Printer. Then, you must pull the locking hook of the exhausted toner cartridge towards the left side of the printer, in order to unlock the exhausted component from the corresponding slot. After that, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by carefully pulling it upwards, but please avoid shaking the exhausted component. Now, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the transport packaging, and then loosen and evenly distribute the toner by shaking the new component at least 10 times from side to side. Please avoid touching the metal contact area of the new toner cartridge. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must align it with the corresponding slot, so the metal contact area is pointing towards the left side of the main unit, and then insert the new toner cartridge into the slot until the locking hook snaps on the metal contact area. Finally, you must close the upper right cover of your Ricoh Aficio 3228C Laser Printer.
