RICOH AFICIO SP C410DN INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER UNIT

The transfer unit installed in your Ricoh Aficio SP-C410DN Laser Printer is a consumable component. Therefore, the built-in system is constantly monitoring the work condition of the installed transfer unit. Please install a new transfer unit in your color laser printer, if the following message ‘’Replace IntTrans Unit’’ is displayed on the control LCD. The complete replacement procedure is included below.

Important: Please avoid touching the internal parts labeled with a sign indicating a hot surface. You must turn off your laser printer and unplug its power cable, before proceeding with the current replacement procedure.

You must open the left cover of your Ricoh Aficio SP-C410DN Laser Printer, and then unlock the inner cover by turning its green levers counterclockwise. After that, you must open the inner cover, and then open the front cover of your laser printer. Now, you must unlock the exhausted transfer unit by turning the green lock release lever to the labeled ‘’locked’’ position, and then pull out the handle of the exhausted component. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must pull the exhausted transfer unit towards you until the green line marked on its top side is visible, and then use the two handles to remove the exhausted component from the machine. After that, you must unpack the new transfer unit, raise its handles, and then slide the new component along the guides of the slot. Once the upper handles touch the main unit, you must lower them, and then completely insert the new transfer unit into the slot. At this stage of the installation, you must lock the new transfer unit into place by turning the green lock release lever clockwise, and then close the front cover. Now, you must close and secure (turn the green levers clockwise) the inner cover, and then carefully close the left cover. Finally, you must turn on your Ricoh Aficio SP-C410DN Laser Printer, and wait for the following message ‘’Ready’’ to be displayed on the control LCD.
