When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Sharp FO-4500 Fax Machine

You should replace the toner cartridge installed in your Sharp FO-4500 Fax Machine when any of the listed indications appears.

� The [Add Toner] indicator flashes – All print/copy operations will be disabled within 100 new printouts. Thus, you should replace the installed toner cartridge with a new one.

� The [Add Toner] indicator is steadily lit, and the message [REPLACE TONER] is displayed – Printing/copying is not possible because the toner level is insufficient. You have to replace the installed toner cartridge with a new one.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Sharp FO-4500 Fax Machine

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must press the release button located on the left side of the Sharp FO-4500 Fax Machine, and then open the top cover. After that, you must pull the exhausted toner cartridge out of the fax machine, and then unpack the replacement toner cartridge. Once the new toner cartridge is unpacked, you must shake it several times up and down to ensure optimal toner distribution, and then slide the cartridge along the guides of the compartment until it snaps into place. Finally, you must close the top cover, and then press [LIFE] – [2] – [START] to reset the toner counter.

It is perfect for the daily printing needs of medium sized offices. The fax machine also comes with a 150 sheet bypass paper tray, can scan in two seconds, and stack jobs in order.

The quality of faxes received is outstanding. Small text at 4 points of faxes received can easily be read. Plus there are so signs of smudging.

This fax machine was built to last. Overall repairs are minimal and parts are well built. You will enjoy owning a printer that doesn’t require a lot of effort to maintain

Cons:

One common problem with the Sharp FO-4500 is that the memory becomes jammed if you send to many faxes to it. However you can install additional memory to alleviate this problem.
