F-320 OEM TONER CARTRIDGE

Your Muratec F-320 Plain-paper Digital Fax is based on the laser printing technology. The laser printing process can be synthesized as follows - The image/document/fax that has been loaded into the internal memory of the laser device is transformed into a charged area on the surface of the installed drum unit, the charged area magnetizes toner from the installed toner cartridge, and then the drum unit transfers the toner from its negatively charged surface onto plain paper trough electrical currents. Please note that to finish the laser printing process, the installed fuser assembly unit applies heat and pressure to fix the toner onto the paper permanently. As you can see, the toner is one of the main components/elements of the laser printing process. The installed toner cartridge contains this important component. A new, standard toner cartridge lasts approx. 16,000 pages at 5% coverage. You should replace the installed toner cartridge with a new one if any of the listed print-quality issues and warning messages appears.

Pages are blank or solid black

Printouts are too light/faded, too dark, or have white/black lines, blurred background, toner smudges, or/and uneven density.

‘’No Toner Cartridge’’ is displayed on the LCD screen – You must reinstall the toner cartridge by following the installation instructions that are available further below. Please install a new toner cartridge if the error message is still displayed after the reinstallation.

‘’TONER ALMOST EMPTY’’ is displayed – More than 90% of the toner has been consumed in the printing process. You must make sure that you have a new toner cartridge in stock because the remaining toner will be completely consumed very soon, and then all print/copy operations will be disabled.

‘’TONER EMPTY <> PRINTER NOT USABLE’’ – The Muratec F-320 Plain-paper Digital Fax cannot print/copy any new faxes/documents because the installed toner cartridge has been exhausted. You must install a new toner cartridge to be able to continue printing.

In order to avoid interruptions of your work, you should always keep a new toner cartridge for your Muratec F-320 Plain-paper Digital Fax in stock, but please store this important consumable component in a dark room, at temperatures within a range of 32degreesF to 95degreesF. Please also note that the toner cartridge should be stored away from any components or materials that are sensitive to magnetic fields. The complete replacement procedure is included below.

Initially, you must open the top cover of the Muratec F-320 Plain-paper Digital Fax, and then open the cover of the toner cartridge compartment. After that, you must remove the used toner cartridge by pulling it straight up, and then unpack the new toner cartridge. Please note that you should shake the new toner cartridge several times horizontally to redistribute the toner, and resp. to avoid future print-quality problems. Next, you must align the two pins of the new toner cartridge with the guides of the slot`s frame, and then insert the new cartridge into place. Now, you must clean the LED print head with the cleaning paper that is included in the box of the new toner cartridge, and then close the cover of the toner cartridge compartment firmly. In the concluding step of the replacement procedure, you must close the top cover, and then test your Muratec F-320 Plain-paper Digital Fax.
