How to Print from a Memory Card with the Epson WorkForce 633

If you wish to print directly from a camera or memory card, it is possible to do so with the Epson WorkForce 633 without ever connecting to a host PC. Multiple copies of a number of images can be produced with the help of the device’s built in LCD screen along with its memory card ports.

Begin with the printer turned on and orient the memory card that is to be used with its corresponding memory slot. Insert the card and you should see the memory card light flash once and then stay on. DO NOT remove the card until this light is turned off.

When the card is ready, load the photo paper type that you wish to print onto into the machine. Press PHOTO and then use the LCD screen and directional keys to select VIEW>PRINT PHOTOS and press OK. The LEFT and RIGHT arrows will help you scroll through the photos, while pressing UP and DOWN will adjust the number of each photo that is to be printed accordingly.

After selecting the photos and values, press MENU>PRINT SETTINGS to adjust the printer to the correct paper size and type. Press BACK and select PHOTO ADJUSTMENTS if you wish to adjust each photo, or just select PRINT PHOTO to begin printing.

Replacing Ink Cartridges in the Epson WorkForce 633

Replacing ink cartridges should be done with the Epson WorkForce 633 turned ON. Its screen will alert users when cartridges are running low at which point new ones should be ordered because once the message, YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE FOLLOWING INK CARTRIDGE(S), appears, you can no longer print from the machine until the necessary cartridges are replaced.

Do not remove the old ink cartridges until you have new ones on hand for replacement as doing so could allow air to get to the print head nozzles and dry them out. When you do have the cartridges on hand, note which colors need replacement and open the scanner.

The ink cartridges can be found inside a cartridge container on the printer head. Access to them can be gained by lifting up on the cartridge cover. Each cover is attached to the print head by its own release tab. Press the tabs on the cartridges and pull them out of the machine to be discarded.

New cartridges should be given some good shakes before opening them from their packages. Once open, you must also remove the YELLOW sealing tape from them but be sure to leave the other seals alone as removing them will cause the cartridge to leak.

Insert each cartridge into its proper slot according to color and close the cartridge cover when all the cartridges that need to be have been replaced. Close the scanner cover when finished and the error message on the LCD screen should go away. The printer will have to charge any brand new cartridges that have been installed and will do so immediately. The process should only take a few minutes, after which the machine will be ready to use again.
