SCX-6322DN DRUM

A new, standard yield drum lasts approx. 20,000 pages at 5% coverage. You can check the condition of the installed drum from the control panel of your Samsung SCX-6322DN Laser Printer by pressing the [Menu] button and navigating to [System Setup] – [Maintenance] – [Supplies Life] – [Drum]. To ensure optimal print quality, you should clean the installed drum once every 35-40 days, or when streaks or spots appear on the printout. You must press the [Menu] button and navigate to [System Setup] – [Maintenance] – [Clean Drum] to print a cleaning page, and resp. to clean the installed drum. The installed drum must be replaced with a new one when any of the listed print-quality issues and warning messages appears.

‘’Drum Warning’’ is displayed on the control LCD – The components of the installed drum cartridge are near the end of their useful life. You must make sure that you have a replacement drum in stock.

‘’Replace Drum’’ – You must install a new drum immediately after the initial appearance of this warning message on the LCD screen.

Initially, you must open the right cover of the laser printer by pulling its releasing lever, and then open the front cover. After that, you must unlock the installed toner cartridge by turning its locking lever upwards, and then remove the toner cartridge from the main unit. Next, you must pull the used drum towards you to remove it from the Samsung SCX-6322DN Laser Printer, and then unpack the new drum. Now, you must carefully slide the new drum into the slot until it is firmly inserted, and then reinstall the toner cartridge. Finally, you must close the front and right covers of your Samsung SCX-6322DN Laser Printer.
