HP PHOTOSMART PREMIUM ALL-IN-ONE OEM 3-COLOR INK COMBO PACK

Your HP PhotoSmart Premium All-in-One Printer monitors the status of all installed ink cartridges constantly. You can check the ink levels by touching [>] – [Ink Supplies].
The HP PhotoSmart Premium All-in-One Printer displays appropriate messages on the touch LCD when an abnormality occurs. All messages indicating ink-cartridge abnormalities are listed below. Please follow the detailed instructions given after each of the listed messages.

[Cartridges in wrong slot] – Two or more ink cartridges are installed into wrong slots. You must reinstall the ink cartridges correctly. Please note that the ink-cartridge slots are labeled.

[Incompatible ink cartridges] – You must make sure that the installed ink cartridges are intended for use in your HP PhotoSmart Premium All-in-One Printer. All unsupported ink cartridges must be replaced.

[Ink alert] – The indicated ink cartridge is nearly empty, which could result in poor print quality. You should install a new ink cartridge of the specified color soon.

[Ink cartridge problem] or [Ink cartridge is missing, incorrectly installed, or not intended for your product] – Your HP PhotoSmart Premium All-in-One Printer has detected an ink cartridge abnormality. Please make sure that all ink cartridges are correctly installed, and then close the carriage latch firmly. You will have to replace the ink cartridges if the problem persists.

[Check ink cartridges] – You must make sure that all five ink cartridge are installed correctly, and then test the HP PhotoSmart Premium All-in-One Printer. You should install a new ink cartridge set if the problem is still present afterwards.

[Original HP ink depleted] – The indicated ink cartridges are empty. Print quality cannot be guaranteed in this situation. Therefore, you should install new ink cartridges of the specified colors.

[Previously used genuine HP cartridge] – The indicated ink cartridge is a genuine/OEM product that was previously used. This message will appear if you have reinstalled an ink cartridge.

Please note that you can determine whether an installed ink cartridge should be replaced by printing a quality report. You have to touch [>] - [Setup] – [Tools] – [Print Quality Report] to print a quality report.

Initially, you must make sure that the HP PhotoSmart Premium All-in-One Printer is in a Stand-by/Ready mode, and then lift the top cover until it locks into place. Please wait for the carriage of the ink cartridges to move to the center of the compartment. After that, you must unlock the exhausted ink cartridge by pressing its releasing tab, and then remove the exhausted component from the inkjet printer. Now, you must remove the protective packaging from the new ink cartridge, detach the orange cap by twisting it in a counterclockwise direction, and then slide the new ink cartridge into the corresponding slot until it locks into place. Finally, you must close the top cover of your HP PhotoSmart Premium All-in-One Printer, and then align the cartridges by selecting [HP Solution Center] – [Settings] – [Print Settings] – [Printer Toolbox] – [Device Services] – [Align the Printer].
