HP COLOR LASERJET CP2025X MAGENTA OEM TONER CARTRIDGE

Your HP Color LaserJet CP2025X Printer is equipped with a highly sophisticated built-in system, which is constantly monitoring the status of all installed consumable components. The built-in monitoring system will display a warning or an error message on the control LCD, when a toner cartridge related problem occurs. All messages indicating toner cartridge related abnormalities are listed and explained below. Please follow the instructions given after each listed message.

• ‘’10.00.XX Supply error’’ -  The built-in monitoring system is not receiving data from the sensor of the indicated toner cartridge. You should reinstall the indicated toner cartridges. Please replace the problematic toner cartridges, if the message is still displayed after the correct reinstallation.

• ‘’10.1000 Supply error’’ (Black toner cartridge), ‘’10.1001 Supply error’’ (Cyan toner cartridge), ‘’10.1002 Supply error’’ (Magenta toner cartridge), and/or ‘’10.1003 Supply error’’ (Yellow toner cartridge) – This issue is usually caused by a broken/damaged e-label of one or several installed toner cartridges. However, you should try to resolve the issue by reinstalling the toner cartridges and restarting the printer. Please replace the indicated toner cartridges, if the problem persists.

• ‘’54.15 Error’’ (Yellow toner cartridge), ‘’54.16 Error’’ (Magenta toner cartridge), ‘’54.17 Error’’ (Cyan toner cartridge), or/and ‘’54.18 Error’’ (Black toner cartridge) – The built-in sensor of the indicated toner cartridge is sending incorrect status information. You should make sure that all toner cartridges are installed correctly. New toner cartridges of the indicated colors must be installed, if the issue persists.

• ‘’<Color> in wrong position’’, or ‘’Incorrect Supplies’’ – You should take all toner cartridges out of the printer, and then reinstall them into the corresponding slots.

• ‘’Install <Color> cartridge’’ – The indicated toner cartridge is either missing or incorrectly installed. Therefore, you should make sure that the indicated toner cartridge is firmly inserted into the corresponding (regarding color) slot, and then restart the printer. The indicated toner cartridge must be replaced, if the issue persists.

• ‘’Order <Color> cartridge’’, or ‘’Order supplies’’ – The indicated toner cartridges are near the end of their useful life. Herein, you should replace the indicated toner cartridges soon after the initial appearance of this advance notification.

• ‘’Remove shipping locks from <color> cartridge’’, or ‘’Remove shipping locks from all cartridges’’ – The shipping locks of the indicated toner cartridges are still attached. You should remove the indicated toner cartridges from the laser printer, remove all shipping locks, and then reinstall the toner cartridges.

• ‘’Replace <Color> cartridge’’ – Your HP Color LaserJet CP2025X Printer is in a non-operational mode caused by a completely exhausted toner cartridge. You must replace the indicated toner cartridge.

• ‘’Used <color> cartridge in use’’, ‘’Used supplies in use’’, or ‘’Used supply installed’’ – All of these warning messages are simply indicating that one or several of the installed toner cartridges are reinstalled used components. No further actions are required.

In some cases, the toner cartridges must be replaced even if there are no warning messages displayed by the built-in monitoring system. Please replace the toner cartridges, if any of the listed below print quality issues is reappearing on the printed documents.

• Light/faded prints
• Toner specks
• Vertical streaks or bands
• Excessive background shading
• Marks repeatedly appearing on even intervals
• Inaccurate colors
• Color inconsistency/Low image density

You should always keep a new toner cartridge set for your HP Color LaserJet CP2025X Printer in stock, but please remember to store all consumable components in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The complete replacement procedure is included below. Please note that the replacement procedure is identical for each toner cartridge, regardless of its color. Please follow the execution order strictly.

Initially, you must open the front door of your HP Color LaserJet CP2025X Printer, and then pull out the toner cartridge holder. Please note that the installed toner cartridges are arranged in the following order, from the laser printer toward you: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and Black. After that, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by grasping its handle and carefully pulling upwards. Now, you must unpack the new toner cartridge of the corresponding color, and then remove the orange, plastic shield from the imaging drum of the new component. Please avoid touching the imaging drum of the new toner cartridge. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new toner cartridge into the corresponding slot of the holder, and then remove the sealing tape from the shutter of the installed new component. Finally, you must push the toner cartridge holder back into the printer, and then close the front door.
