The Konica Minolta BizHub C451 Laser Printer is equipped with four toner cartridges. The toner supply indicators on the LCD screen show the amount of toner remaining for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Alternatively, you can check the toner levels by pressing [Utility/Counter] – [Meter Count] – [Check Details]. You laser printer displays appropriate warning messages on the LCD screen when an abnormality occurs. All messages indicating toner-cartridge related abnormalities are listed and explained below.

[Install toner cartridge, and close all doors] – You must make sure that the indicated toner cartridge is installed correctly, and then close all printer doors. Please replace the indicated toner cartridge if the problem persists.

[Toner cartridge (X) needs to be replaced soon.] – The indicated toner cartridge is nearly empty. You should obtain a new X toner cartridge soon.

[Replace toner cartridge (X)] – The indicated toner cartridge is empty and needs to be replaced. Please install a new X toner cartridge.

You must start the replacement procedure by opening the upper front door of your Konica Minolta BizHub C451 Laser Printer. Then, you must remove the empty toner cartridge by pulling it slowly out of the slot. After that, you must unpack a new toner cartridge of the corresponding color, and then redistribute the toner by shaking the new cartridge 10-15 times up and down. Now, you must remove the protective tape, and then align the new toner cartridge with the guides of the slot. Finally, you must slide the new toner cartridge into the slot until it snaps into place, and then close the upper front door.
