LD124C YELLOW OEM TONER CARTRIDGE

The fuser assembly unit uses heat and pressure to fix the toner image onto the paper. The lifespan of the fuser assembly unit is approx. 120,000 prints. The Lanier LD124c Laser Copier displays error codes on the LCD screen if a fuser-related abnormality occurs. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if any of the listed errors and print quality problems persists.

·        The error code [541 A] or [542 A] is displayed – The Lanier LD124c Laser Copier has detected a fuser warm-up error. You must make sure that the fuser connector and the fuser thermistor are properly connected. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the error persists.

·        The error code [545 A] or [546 A] is displayed – These error codes indicate that the temperature of the installed fuser assembly unit is unstable. You must make sure that the fuser thermistor and drawer are correctly connected. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the error persists.

·        The error code [552 A], [553 A], [554 A], [555 A], or [556 A] is displayed – The installed fuser assembly unit does not function properly. You should reinstall the fuser assembly unit, and then test your Lanier LD124c Laser Copier. Please install a new fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

·        Repetitive image defects occurring at intervals of 7,4 inches or 4,9 inches

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must switch the Lanier LD124c Laser Copier off, and then wait at least 10 minutes to allow the installed fuser assembly unit to cool. Please do not switch on the machine until the new fuser assembly unit is installed. After that, you must open the right cover of the copier, and then remove the mounting screw from the front side of the exhausted fuser assembly unit. Now, you must pull the exhausted fuser assembly unit slightly towards you, and then release the fuser stopper. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must slide the exhausted fuser assembly unit to the end of the base plate, and then remove it from the Lanier LD124c Laser Copier. Finally, you must install the new fuser assembly unit by executing the current procedure in reverse order, and then reset the preventive maintenance counter by executing service procedure ‘’7-804-7’’.

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover of the finisher, and then remove the staple cartridge holder from the stapler unit by pulling it towards you while pressing its release lever. After that, you must unlock the exhausted staple cartridge by raising the upper section of the holder, and then remove the exhausted component. Now, you must insert the new staple cartridge into the holder, and then push the upper section of the holder down until it clicks into place. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must detach the protective ribbon from the new staple cartridge, and then insert the staple cartridge holder along the guides of the stapler unit until you hear a click. Finally, you must close the front cover of the finisher.
