HP LASERJET 4000T TONER CARTRIDGE

You should replace the toner cartridge installed in your HP LaserJet 4000t Printer, when any of the listed messages and print quality issues appears.

• ‘’Toner Low’’ – The installed toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. The remaining toner is enough for a very limited number of new prints (less than 100). For that reason, you should install a new toner cartridge soon after the initial appearance of the ‘’Toner Low’’ warning message.

• ‘’Toner Empty’’ – All print/copy operations are disabled due to an empty toner cartridge. You must install a new toner cartridge.

• One of the listed printed quality issues appears:

• Light prints
• Dropouts
• Lines
• Gray background
• Toner smear
• Repeating defects

It is recommended that you keep a new toner cartridge for your HP LaserJet 4000t Printer in stock, but please store the cartridge in its original packing material, in order to be avoided damages. Please follow the instructions given below to install a new toner cartridge in your laser printer.

You must open the top cover of the laser printer, and remove the used toner cartridge by carefully pulling it out of the main compartment. Please avoid touching the fusing area. In the next step, you must wipe the paper feed guides and the paper access plate with a dry, lint-free cloth. Then, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the transport box, and remove the protective sealing tape. After that, you must position the new toner cartridge with the arrow pointing towards the main unit, and then slide the cartridge into the slot until it stops. Finally, you must close the top cover, and test your HP LaserJet 4000t Printer.
