The Savin C3224 Color Multifunction Printer is equipped with an [Add Toner] indicator. The indicator will be lit/on if an installed toner cartridge needs replacing.

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must open the upper right cover of your Savin C3224 Color Multifunction Printer, and then release the hook of the exhausted toner cartridge. After that, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge from the machine, and then take the new toner cartridge out of the box. Now, you must shake the new toner cartridge several times from side to side, and then align the cartridge with the slot. ·       [SC 542], [SC 551], or [SC 552] – The heating roller of the installed fuser assembly unit does not reach operational temperature. You should reinstall the fuser assembly unit, and then restart the Savin C3224 Color Multifunction Printer. Please replace the fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

 

·       [SC 544] or [SC 553] – The temperature of the fuser assembly unit is too high. You should turn the printer off, wait at least 10 minutes, and then turn the printer back on. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

 

·       [SC 545] or [SC 555] – The installed fuser assembly unit does not switch from operational to Stand-by/Ready mode. You should try to solve the problem by restarting the Savin C3224 Color Multifunction Printer. Please replace the installed fuser assembly unit if the problem persists.

 

·       [SC 546] or [SC 556] – The installed fuser assembly unit does not function properly. Please install a new fuser assembly unit.

Important: Please do not tilt or shake the exhausted fuser assembly unit after removing it from the machine.

 

In the initial step of the replacement procedure, you must make sure that the Savin C3224 Color Multifunction Printer is switched on, and then press the [Clear Mode] key. Next, you must enter [107], hold down the [Clear/Stop] key for at least 4 seconds, and then enter [SP5-999-009]. After that, you must press the [Exit] key twice, and then switch the Savin C3224 Color Multifunction Printer off. Now, you must detach the finisher from the main unit, and then open the duplex inverter. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must push the heat insulator of the exhausted fuser assembly unit down, and then remove the exhausted component from the printer. Finally, you must install the new fuser assembly unit by executing the current procedure in reverse order, and then switch the Savin C3224 Color Multifunction Printer on.
