Multi-staple Finisher (MJ-1023)
You must open the front cover of the installed finisher, and then remove the staple cartridge holder. Now, you must pull the empty staple cartridge out of the holder, and then unpack a new staple cartridge. After that, you must remove the protective seal from the staples, and then slide the new staple cartridge into the holder until it clicks into place. Finally, you must insert the staple cartridge holder into the finisher, and then close the front cover.

Saddle-stitch Finisher (MJ-1024)
Initially, you must open the front cover of the finisher by pulling its handle gently towards you, and then slide the saddle stitch unit toward the front. After that, you must pull the handle of the saddle stitch holder towards you and rotate it 90degrees clockwise, and then remove the empty staple cartridge from the holder. Now, you must prepare a new staple cartridge, and then insert it into the saddle stitch holder. In the next step, you must return the saddle stitch holder to its original position, and then push the saddle stitch unit back into the finisher. Finally, you must load paper into the input tray, and then close the front cover of the Saddle-stitch Finisher (MJ-1024).

Single-staple Finisher (MJ-1022)
In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must pull the lock/release lever of the finisher towards you, and then move the finisher away from the main unit. Next, you must take the staple cartridge holder out of the finisher, and then remove the empty staple cartridge. After that, you must slide the new staple cartridge into the holder until it clicks into place, and then remove the seal that holds the staples together by pulling it straight upwards. Finally, you must insert the staple cartridge holder into the finisher, and then attach the finisher to the Toshiba E-Studio 450 Laser Printer.
