When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the XEROX PHASER 6130 Color Laser Printer?

Your XEROX PHASER 6130 Color Laser Printer is equipped with a built-in system, which is constantly monitoring the status of all installed toner cartridges. Once the toner level in any of the installed toner cartridges becomes too low, you will see one of the following messages on the control display: ‘’Yellow Low’’, ‘’Magenta Low’’, ‘’Cyan Low’’, ‘’Black Low’’. You must replace the exhausted toner cartridge/cartridges, when any of the above warning messages appears. Otherwise, the remaining toner in the exhausted toner cartridge will be consumed very soon, the following message ‘’Replace ‘’XXX’’ Toner Cartridge’’ will appear on the PHASER 6130`s display, and all color/black&white/both printing operations will be suspended. Herein, you should always keep a spare set of toner cartridges for your XEROX PHASER 6130 Color Laser Printer.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the XEROX PHASER 6130 Color Laser Printer

The toner cartridge replacement in your XEROX PHASER 6130 Color Laser Printer is a very easy procedure, which requires no more than 5-10 minutes for complete execution. Initially, you must open the right side cover of the printer by pulling its left side towards you and locate the exhausted toner cartridge afterwards. Once you have found the exhausted toner cartridge, you must pull its lock release lever and take it out from the toner cartridge slot. Then, you must unpack the new toner cartridge and shake it five-six times horizontally, in order to loosen and evenly distribute the toner. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must insert it into the toner cartridge slot and then push the cartridge towards the inside of the printer to lock it into position. Finally, you can close the right side cover and test your XEROX PHASER 6130 Color Laser Printer.
