XEROX PHASER 7300 COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

Your Xerox Phaser 7300 Color Laser Printer is equipped with four toner cartridges: Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. You can check the status of the installed toner cartridges from the second section of the Printer Properties window. You should replace an installed toner cartridge(s) with a new one(s) if the current toner level is under 10%, or if:

Dark lines appear in one or more colors – The toner cartridges of the corresponding colors are probably near the end of their useful life. Please replace all nearly empty toner cartridges.

The printer icon’s color is set to red and/or ‘’No Toner’’ is displayed on the Alarm Configuration window – One or several installed toner cartridges are empty. The Xerox Phaser 7300 Color Laser Printer is in a non-operational mode, which means that all copy/print operations are disabled. You must install new toner cartridges of the corresponding colors.

The printer icon’s color is set to yellow and/or ‘’Low Toner’’ appears in the Alarm Configuration window – One or more installed toner cartridges are near the end of their useful life. You must make sure that you have a new toner cartridge set in stock. You should install the new toner cartridges soon, in order to be avoided print-quality problems.

You must open the top cover of your Xerox Phaser 7300 Color Laser Printer, but without touching the LED print heads that are located on the inside of the cover. Then, you must locate the exhausted toner cartridge. Please note that the toner cartridges are installed (and must be installed) in the following order (front side-rear side) – Black, Yellow, Magenta, and Cyan. After that, you must pull the lock/release lever of the exhausted toner cartridge towards you, pull the right side of the exhausted toner cartridge out of the slot, and then return the lock/release lever to its original position. Now, you must pull the exhausted toner cartridge to the right to remove it from the laser printer, and then take the new toner cartridge out of the transport box. In the next step, you must shake the new toner cartridge 15-20 times vertically to loosen and redistribute the toner, and then remove the protective rubber band from the shutter of the cartridge. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must slide its left side into the slot, so that the protrusion on the left end of the new cartridge fits into the mounting hole of the corresponding slot, and then lower the right side of the cartridge until the lock/release lever snaps into locked position. Finally, you must close the top cover very slowly, and then test your Xerox Phaser 7300 Color Laser Printer.
