When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Xerox WorkCentre XD125 Laser Printer?

The lifespan of the installed toner cartridge depends upon various subjective factors, such as the average percentage of page coverage, the chosen print/copy density settings, the chosen printing modes, and the environmental conditions. For example, you can extend the lifespan of the installed toner cartridge by enabling the Toner Save mode. Please be aware that the Toner Save mode decreases the toner consumption by lowering the overall print/copy density, which could cause print-quality problems. Please note that the useful life of the installed toner cartridge will be drastically decreased if the document cover is left opened. You should replace the installed toner cartridge with a new one if:

The [Add Toner] LED is on – All print/copy operations will be disabled after approx. 10 new copies/prints. You should install a new toner cartridge.

‘’J1’’ is displayed – The installed toner cartridge is empty. You must install a new toner cartridge.

‘’CH’’ – The built-in monitoring system does not receive status information from the toner cartridge sensor. You must make sure that the toner cartridge is installed correctly. Please install a new toner cartridge if the problem persists.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Xerox WorkCentre XD125 Laser Printer

To install a new toner cartridge in your Xerox WorkCentre XD125 Laser Printer, you must open the right side-cover, and then open the front cover. After that, you must remove the used toner cartridge by pulling it towards you while pressing its green releasing button. In the next step, you must take the new toner cartridge out of the protective packaging, shake it 7-8 times horizontally, and then remove the protective cover from the shutter of the new component. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must slide it along the guides of the slot until it clicks into place, and then finalize the replacement procedure by closing the printer covers.

If your office doesn’t have a lot of extra room, the WorkCentre XD125 is the perfect solution. It measures 14.9 inches by 20.4 inches by 19.3 inches, and weighs only 48.5 pounds. With the WorkCentre XD125 you get an automatic document feeder, which makes copying large, multi-page documents a snap.
Toner cartridges for the Xerox XD125 offer high yields and will save you money. There is also a toner save mode that will reduce the amount of WorkCentre XD125 toner per page by as much as 50%. Toner cartridges are also recyclable which is great for the environment.
