MAGENTA TONER CARTRIDGE for DELL 5100CN LASER PRINTER

Your Dell Color 5100CN is equipped with four toner cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow), which are consumable components with a certain, limited lifespan. Therefore, the built-in monitoring system is constantly monitoring the status of the installed toner cartridges, and it will display one or several of the listed below warning and error messages, when a toner cartridge/cartridges related abnormality has been detected.

 ''NNN-NNN <> Restart Printer <> Reseat X Toner (blinking once every 3 seconds)'', ''Insert TonerCart <> NNN-NNN <> Insert XXX'', or ''Toner type <> NNN-NNN <> Reseat XXX'' – This is an error message, which is normally indicating an incorrect installation of one or several toner cartridges. Herein, you should reinstall the indicated toner cartridges. Please note that you must install a new toner cartridge/cartridges of the indicated color/colors, if the message is still displayed after the re-installation.

 ''Tape On XXX Toner <> NNN-NNN <> Remove Tape From XXX (blinking once every 3 seconds)'' – This message indicates that the sealing tape of one or several installed toner cartridges is still attached. You must remove the sealing tape and reinstall the toner cartridges.

 ''Replace Toner <> NNN-NNN <> Replace XXX'' – This is a warning message, which indicates one or several nearly empty/exhausted toner cartridges. You must replace all of the indicated toner cartridges soon after the initial appearance of this warning message, in order to be avoided a non-operational printer mode. Please be aware that you won't be able to finish your current task or to print/copy new documents, when the printer is in a non-operational mode caused by a completely exhausted toner cartridge.

In the first step of the toner cartridge replacement procedure, you must remove the top cover by pulling it carefully upwards. Then, you must close the shutter of the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling both of its lock levers to the marked ''unlocked'' position. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by simply pulling it out of the slot, and then unpack the new consumable component. Once the new toner cartridge is unpacked, you must shake it at least 10 times vertically to loosen and evenly distribute the toner, and then align the prepared new consumable component with the corresponding slot of the printer. Now, you must completely insert the new toner cartridge into the slot, and then lock it into place by pushing its lock levers to the marked ''locked'' position. After that, you must remove the sealing tape from the installed new component by pulling it straight upwards. Finally, you must insert the front side of the previously removed top cover into the printer, and then push its rear side down until it clicks into place.
