DP-C264 BLACK TONER CARTRIDGE

Your Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System is equipped with four toner cartridges – one Black toner cartridge (Carbon Black Amorphous silica) and three Color toner cartridges (Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow - Polyethylene Blue, Red or Yellow Pigment Amorphous silica). An installed toner cartridge(s) must be replaced if any of the listed indications and/or print-quality problems appears.

The red [Status] LED is on – You should load paper in the selected tray, and then test the Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System. If the red [Status] LED is still on, you have to check the toner levels, and replace all exhausted toner cartridges.

The orange [Status] LED is on – One or more installed toner cartridges are near the end of their useful life. You should purchase new toner cartridges for the corresponding colors soon.

The [Add Toner] indicator is on – Your Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System is in a non-operational mode due to insufficient toner levels. Please replace all empty toner cartridges.

Printouts are faded

The [Status] icon on the LCD is displayed in yellow – The Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System has detected a low toner level. You must make sure that you have a replacement toner cartridge set in stock.

[U13] is displayed – This error code indicates that a new toner cartridge set must be installed.

[U25] is displayed – The machine has detected a hardware error. You should try to solve the problem by redistributing the toner. Please install a new toner cartridge set if the error code is still displayed.

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the front cover, and then unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by turning it counterclockwise to the unlock mark. Please note that the installed toner cartridges are arranged in the following order (left – right): Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and Black. Once you have unlocked the exhausted toner cartridge, you must pull it towards you to remove it from the Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System, and then take the new toner cartridge out of the protective packaging. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must loosen the toner by shaking the new cartridge 15-20 times up and down, and then remove the sealing tape from the shutter, but without opening the shutter. After that, you must align the arrow stamped on the front side of the new toner cartridge with the unlock mark on the corresponding slot, and then slide the new toner cartridge into the slot until it stops. Now, you must lock the new toner cartridge by turning it clockwise until it stops. Finally, you must close the front cover of your Panasonic DP-C264 Digital Imaging System.
